About us
Climate Awareness Association (CAA), is a non-profit organization located in Kosovo. It was founded in 2021, and its primary purpose is to raise public awareness about climate change and environmental issues based on scientific data on climate processes through comprehensive and interactive workshops.
We organize and conduct empowering workshop on climate change and ecological transition which prompts participants to take constructive action to help tackle climate change.
It enables quick learning and can be addressed to both beginners and experts. This workshop is available in versions and modules for children and adults in Albanian, English and Serbian.
Our vision
Climate change is a complex problem that affects us all, but it is still very badly understood by the general population.
We don’t have much time, but by understanding the challenge we can take our response to the next level.
Our ambition is to create a network of people that is growing exponentially who can pass on this quality climate education in order to reach a social tipping point that will help guide us to a low carbon world.
Activities
In the continuum of our activities, we are considering expanding this climate change awareness program by adding our training and workshops for different individual groups, such as students, young people, and other actors, so in the future, they could advocate for different groups, replicate themselves or be more active in environmental protection.
